The operation of the mini city hall in Barangay Napsan will start Monday, January 20, after the first flag-raising ceremony with Mayor Lucilo Bayron, said its deputy mayor Friday.

In an interview Friday, January 17, with Napsan Mini City Hall deputy mayor Andrew Russell, he said they will mainly focus on infrastructure projects in the area and in bringing government services closer to the public.

“Ngayon idini-develop ni mayor na i-repair ‘yong mga roads nila,” Russell said.

“Tinatapos [na lang] nila ‘yong flag pole. Every Monday morning merong flag raising [sa mini city hall],” he added.

Russell said this mini city hall in Napsan will also attend to the residents of nearby barangays.

Russell said all the departments present at the main city hall will have corresponding offices at the mini city hall that will cater to the public.

However, Russell said some departments, which are not needed there daily by the citizens, will only have scheduled visits.

“Iyong iba naka-schedule. Kasi ‘yong iba hindi naman ganoon kailangan araw-araw doon. Pero ‘yong mga in-demand like ‘yong City Health in demand ‘yan, araw-araw ‘yan,” said Russell.
