To bolster grassroots public service and operational efficiency across off-grid localities, the Rio Tuba Nickel Mining Corporation (RTNMC) has recently turned over essential power generation equipment to communities within this southern municipality.

The handover event, conducted under the banner of community development and local empowerment, addresses persistent infrastructural hurdles faced by remote barangays still lacking stable grid electricity.

According to corporate stakeholders, municipal local government units (LGUs) require high-utility equipment and dependable resource packages to bridge service delivery gaps in isolated areas, directly elevating local visibility, administrative responsiveness, and day-to-day community operations.

The turnover package features heavy-duty mechanical generator units, alternators, high-capacity lubricants, and specialized cabling designed to electrify community outposts and communal structures.

Company representatives emphasized that these interventions align with ongoing social development strategies aimed at fostering self-reliance and strengthening the administrative capabilities of peripheral neighborhoods across Palawan.
