VP at DepEd Secretary Sara Duterte, ipinahayag na Agosto 22 na ang simula ng pasukan sa bansa

Mariing ipinahayag ni Vice President at Department of Education Secretary Sara Duterte na sa darating na Agosto 22 ang simula ng school year 2022-2023.

Sinabi Duterte na aprubado na ng Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr. na sisimulan na ang mga klase sa darating na ika- 22 ng Agosto 2022 at magtatapos sa ika-23 ng Hulyo 2023.

Ang pahayag ng Pangalawang Pangulo at Kalihim ng Edukasyon ay bilang tugon sa kabi-kabilang panawagan ng mga guro na sa buwan pa ng Setyembre o dili kaya ay Oktubre marapat na buksan ang klase upang sila naman ay makapagpahinga muna dulot ng tuloy-tuloy na pagtatrabaho sa mga eskuwelahan sa kabila ng naging kasagsagan ng pandemyang COVID-19.

Ang in-person classes at distance learning ay isasagawa sa buwan ng Agosto hanggang Oktubre 2022, samantalang sa buwan ng Nobyembre ay maaari nang mapasimulan ang limang araw na face-to-face classes.

Sinabi ni Vice President at DepEd Secteray Sara Duterte na sa ngayon ay maituturing ng ligtas ang publiko laban sa pandemya dahil sa patuloy na pagtalima ng mga mamamayan sa COVID-19 protocols kung saan marami na ang nagpabakuna at marami na ring na gamot sa mga magkakasakit sakali man.

Gayunpaman ang pangangalaga sa kaligtasan ng bawat isa ay siyang pangunahing isinasaalang-alang sa tuwina ng pamahalaan.
