In order to continue helping his constituents, a local official from the Municipality of Taytay organized a special online concert to gather funds that will be allocated to buy rice, foods, coffee and even local farm produce like bananas and sweet potatoes, and evenly distribute to the poorest of the poor.

The online concert dubbed as “Pamilya at Musika para sa Bayan ng Taytay” is spearheaded by Councilor Alvin Yara featuring his selected family members in the said town and in Puerto Princesa, it will start from 1 in the afternoon and can be watched live from Yara’s personal Facebook page.

The live online show will run from 2 to 3 hours that features mostly covered inspirational songs.

“Para po sa mga poorest of the poor ng Taytay, actually second wave na namin to. ‘Yung first wave was from my own pocket as Sangguniang Bayan pero dahil limited din lang yung beneficiaries’ kaya nag come up ako sa ganitong plano para makadagdag,” Yara said.

Yara assured that this fund drive will be properly accounted with receipts for transparency purposes, and he is looking forward for support from his relatives and friends abroad.

For those who wish to donate, they can send cash thru San Brendan College Inc. Bank Account and GCash. The account number will be announced during the concert this coming April 3, Friday.

Aside from SB Yara, other performers include Tita Kim, Elaine Yara-Tullo, Lani Yulo-Tullo, Jason Yara, Estela Yara, Sherry Leah Yara, Fea and Elise, Kyle Yara-Tullo and Kristel Vigonte.
