“Parang feeling ko politics in Palawan has changed, before it used to be a fellowship, debates and camaraderie, you know parang they respect and they love the leader, and they vote according to what they have done and what they can do. Money politics has gone into the stream of Palawan and it’s very disappointing, every elections millions and billions of pesos go into the blood stream of the economy, and people are swayed by so much money, nabubulag and change the way they think and what they believe in,” ani Mitra

“I have served our people already, as I mentioned 12 years na tayo sa public service and I have served the people well, maybe they just miss me, maybe I miss them more, but I’m still around, before the pandemic I spent almost two weeks in Palawan,” sabi pa ni Mitra.

“I miss Palawan, I miss everybody, our friends and relatives and supporters and also our past opponents, we have moved on, we want to work together, if there’s anything that I can be of assistance sa inyo at sa iba’t ibang grupo, nandito lang po kami, patuloy lang ang serbisyo sa bayan,” saad pa ni Mitra.
