On Saturday, September 23, Frotea Philippines celebrated its 11th anniversary by introducing new products.

Back in the day, Frotea Philippines was established in 2012 by its key founder, Engineer Ana Lustre-Malijan, a visionary and passionate entrepreneur. According to her, Frotea was only serving frozen yogurt and milk tea during those days.

“We started Frotea 11 years ago [and] katulad nga nang sabi ko I just wanted to have a business of my own.”

“After a year of working, in-open ko yung Frotea. Initially, we’re serving frozen yogurt and milk tea and now hindi na,” according to Engr. Malijan during the interview.

Over the years, Frotea Philippines has flourished and expanded its business. Today, it boasts 14 branches across the country, with 11 branches in Palawan, 2 in Batangas, and 1 in Laguna. This remarkable growth is a testament to Frotea’s commitment to quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction. Upon its continuing success, Engr. Malijan also said that they are planning to expand their business to Cavite, Las Piñas, and Muntinlupa.

Furthermore, Engr. Malijan also added that the goal of Frotea Philippines is to serve milk tea dessert to its customers as it expands its menu to a new level of delicacies.

“We’re building our brand as the first milk tea dessert brand in the Philippines so, ang goal namin is to serve milk tea dessert katulad ng itong ni-launch namin.”
