The Department of Health’s Regional Office – MIMAROPA reported that six new test results from Palawan yielded negative results according to the Research Institute for Tropical Medicine (RITM) on Monday, April 20.
Geraldine Perez, DOH – MIMAROPA Health Education and Promotion Officer said that they were also awaiting the results of 16 other individuals who were taken swab samples.
“For today po [April 22], wala pong lumabas na results for Palawan. It was indicated sa tracker natin as of last night na 16 ang awaiting results,” Perez told Palawan Daily.
Perez added that they are now sending samples for laboratory testing at San Lazaro Hospital after more than 40 of RITM personnel contracted the virus.
“Starting April 18, sa San Lazaro Hospital na po tayo nagpapadala ng specimens since sila po yong identified hospital to cater the region,” she added.
