P5.268-trillion 2023 national budget, inaprubahan na ng Kamara

Inaprubahan na ng House of Representatives kahapon, Miyerkules, Setyembre 28, ang House Bill 4488 o ang proposed 2023 national budget na nagkakahalaga ng P5.268-trillion.

Winakasan kahapon ang plenary deliberations sa lahat ng mga ahensya na huling nakasalang kasama ang Office of the President, National Commission on Indigenous Peoples, Congress, Presidential Management Staff, Legislative Executive Development Advisory Council, Department of Finance, Department of Budget and Management, pati ang Lump Sum Funds at General Principles.

Sumalang sa matinding pagbusisi ang General Appropriations Bill sa nakalipas na 7 araw.

Sinigurado naman ni Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez na maayos ang deliberasyon. Kasama nito sina Majority Leader Manuel Jose Dalipe, Minority Leader Marcelino Libanan, House Appropriations Committee Chair Elizaldy Co, pati si Senior Vice Chair Stella Luz Quimbo at mga opisyal ng Kamara sa pagpapasiguro na lahat ng gustong magtanong na kongresista ay nabibigyan ng pagkakataon.

Isa si Cong. Jose Alvarez sa mga nag-sponsor ng budget partikular na ang sa Department of Environment and Natural Resources. Siya ang sumagot sa mga katanungang ibinato ng mga nag-interpellate.
