Crosby Jr., who has been on the run for almost three years, was arrested by the BI’s Fugitive Search Unit in Puerto Princesa City.
According to reports, Crosby Jr. has been on the wanted list of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) since April 2020 after he was issued an arrest order by the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit Court in Hillsborough County, Florida.
The BI said in a statement that Crosby Jr. was wanted by the US government for “racketeering, conspiracy to commit racketeering, money laundering, and organized schemes to defraud.”
The suspect will be subjected to extradition to the United States to face charges. His passport was also revoked by the United States government, making him an undocumented foreigner in the country.
Moreover, the BI said that the board also ordered the suspect’s inclusion in the immigration blacklist, thus, the suspect will be denied entry if he attempts to enter the Philippines through any port of entry.
