A 25-year-old man was stabbed in the back during a heated argument on Sunday morning in Barangay Ramon Magsaysay, Aborlan, Palawan.
The incident occurred around 8:30 AM and involved residents of the same barangay.
The victim, identified as Mark Dave Dini-ay, sustained a stab wound inflicted by the suspect, known only as “Robert,” aged 24.
According to the Aborlan Municipal Police Station (MPS), the altercation escalated when Dini-ay blew cigarette smoke into the suspect’s face, prompting Robert to punch him. Subsequently, Robert drew a knife and stabbed Dini-ay in the back.
According to the Palawan Provincial Police Office, the incident was reported alongside a Covened Meeting of the 71s Culture Club on the same day in the barangay.
The wounded victim was quickly transported to Aborlan Medical Hospital for immediate treatment, while the suspect was apprehended. The knife used in the crime has been confiscated and is now in police custody.
