Since Day One of the pandemic, Hue Hotels & Resorts Puerto Princesa continues to have zero cases of Covid-19 in its premises, as proven by the recent negative results of the property’s 52 staff members who underwent antigen testing last March 27-28.
These recent test results are evidence of the efficacy of Hue Puerto Princesa’s hygiene and sanitary protocols, proving that the resort continues to be a safe haven for employees and guests alike.
The tests, which were done in two batches, were conducted by the Puerto Princesa City Health Office, which decided to waive the admin fee for Hue’s employees. On the other hand, the hotel made sure their employees would not bear the cost of the testing by sponsoring test kits for all 52 employees.
“Providing a safe space in which residents and visitors of Puerto Princesa are able to conduct their leisure and business-related activities have always been a priority of our brand, shares Hue Hotels and Resorts Group General Manager Chris Guballa. “Even before the pandemic, we already had a Safe Haven program in place, which made sure our Puerto Princesa and Boracay properties
adhered to internationally accepted health, sanitation and work environment safety standards.”
Just recently, Hue Hotels signed up with leading international brand Lysol to complement their Safe Haven program with additional training, use of hospital- grade sanitation machinery and updated disinfection protocols.
Given their consistency in keeping the resort safe, Hue Puerto Princesa assures guests that they will be ready to open their doors once the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) has been lifted.
“With hotel staff given 100% clean bill of health, we hope this gives the public more confidence to visit Hue Puerto Princesa when quarantine restrictions are lifted,” says Guballa. “ We are eager to welcome the community and local tourists back for staycations, business meetings, and conferences, as well as partake of our famous weekend dinner buffets at La-ud.” (P.R.)
