It is obvious that the type of weather the country is experiencing now is beyond the normal summer yearly experienced. During a particular day in April, the heat index hit 48°C, apparently the hottest recorded day in 2023. This scorching heat being experienced has been making a way for heatstroke, a life-threatening and most serious heat-related illness. This happens when the human body is overheating and can no longer control its temperature rising above 40 °C.

According to the Department of Health, its causes may include dehydration, strenuous exercise and too much exposure to the sun, thus one may experience weakness, fainting, intense thirst, headache and anxiety.
