The Rio Tuba Nickel Mining Corp. – RTNMC was once again awarded by the Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) MIMAROPA Region and Pollution Control Association of the Philippines, Inc. (PCAPI) this November 8-10, for its efforts to strictly adhere to environmental regulations for the management of air, water, waste, and other compliances for three consecutive years.

The award was given during the EIA and PCO Summit held at the Heritage Hotel in Manila, Philippines.

Ms. Janice Tupas, RTN’s Mine Environmental Protection and Enhancement Officer (MEPEO) and Pollution Control Officer (PCO), was also recognized by EMB MIMAROPA for her dedication to leading RTN in ensuring compliance with the said environmental regulations.

RTNMC has consistently proven its dedication to responsible mining practices over the years. Their unyielding commitment to protecting the environment and surrounding communities has earned them praise and recognition from various regulatory bodies.
