SM Prime Holdings, Inc. (SM Prime), one of the leading integrated property developers in Southeast Asia, is officially on track to open its second mega-venue, the SM Seaside Cebu Arena, in June 2026. Designed to meet strict global standards, the world-class facility is poised to become the premier destination for live entertainment, sports, and major international events in the region.

“The enduring success of the SM MOA Arena demonstrates the massive demand for world-class entertainment venues. We are thrilled to bring this proven, successful model to Cebu,” said Jeffrey C. Lim, President of SM Prime. “We view Cebu as a vital economic growth center. This arena will serve as a catalyst—attracting major international events, driving tourism, and generating significant economic activity for the entire Visayas region.”

The SM Seaside Cebu Arena is engineered to deliver an unparalleled spectator and production experience, featuring:

• Massive Capacity: Spanning seven storeys, the arena can accommodate up to 25,000 people, making it one of the largest indoor arenas in the Philippines.
• Flexible Event Bowl: The main bowl can be seamlessly reconfigured to host massive, high-energy stadium concerts or scaled down for more intimate, boutique events, offering promoters unmatched versatility.
• Next-Gen Visuals & Connectivity: The venue will house one of the country’s most advanced center-hung scoreboard displays, complemented by immersive LED ribbon boards for a 360-degree viewing experience.
• Future-Proof Digital Tech: Equipped with high-capacity digital infrastructure and full 5G connectivity, the arena ensures seamless real-time engagement and enhanced broadcasting capabilities.
• Premier Suites: Integrated luxury suites are built into the design to cater to corporate partners, elevating the VIP hospitality standard in Cebu’s entertainment scene. Designed for World-Class Productions.

The arena’s architecture heavily accommodates both front-of-house and complex back-of-house technical requirements. Performers and athletes will have access to a dedicated in-house practice court, while multi-functional event spaces will serve as premium holding areas, production breakout rooms, or spaces for private, smaller functions.

Situated strategically within the expansive SM Seaside Complex, the arena offers visitors and organizers direct, integrated access to retail, dining, hospitality, and transport hubs.

Furthermore, its logistical proximity to the Mactan-Cebu International Airport (MCIA) and surrounding lifestyle developments solidifies its appeal as a prime regional destination for international artists and global conventions.

Star-Studded 2026 Lineup Already Confirmed Anticipation for the venue is already high, with advanced bookings securing major acts since late last year. The confirmed lineup for the arena’s inaugural season includes BINI on July 11, IV of Spades on July 18, TJ Monterde and KZ Tandingan on September 5 and LANY on November 6 and 12 already confirmed for this year.
