ISO 14001:2015 is an internationally recognized standard for environmental management systems that provides a framework for organizations to manage their environmental responsibilities in a structured and continuous manner. It focuses on improving environmental performance through proper systems, controls, and ongoing improvement of all aspects of operations.
The certification covers INC’s full mining operations, including development, extraction, hauling, stockyard, and port operations; hence, this re-certification reflects the company’s continued effort to carry out its operations with care for the environment and in line with established environmental management practices.
The re-certification was granted by Intertek Certification Limited, following an external audit of the company’s systems and processes. It confirms INC’s continued compliance with the requirements of the standard across its operations.
