A 28-year-old drug suspect was arrested in an anti-drug operation in Barangay Corong-Corong, El Nido, Palawan, 8:45 P.M. yesterday.
Suspect was identified as John Oliver Payan Morato a.k.a. “DENDEN”, single and a resident of Barangay Libertad, of the same municipality.
Based on police report, Morato sold illegal drugs to an agent posing as buyer.
Confiscated from his possession were four (4) pieces heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believe to be shabu, one (2) pieces Five Hundred (Php 500.00) Peso bill as one served as marked money and one (1) piece match box believed to be used as container.
Morato and the seized items is now under the custody of El Nido Municipal Police Station and charges for selling illegal drugs under Violation of Republic Act 9165 (Buy-bust) will be filed against him.
