67 volunteer as contact tracers in Busuanga

Sixty-seven locals from various barangays in the Municipality of Busuanga volunteered as contact tracers to strengthen the contact tracing in their town.

According to the post of Busuanga Information Office, people from Barangays Bogton, Buluang, Concepcion, Cheey, Maglalambay, New Busuanga, Panlaitan, Quezon, Salvacion, Sagrada, San Isidro, San Rafael, and Sto. Niño responded to the request of the local government.

Mayor Beth Cervantes is also grateful to her constituents for responding to their call for additional helping hands.

The qualified contact tracer-volunteers have undergone training on October 26 to 29.

Meanwhile, as of October 31, Busuanga logged a total of 507 COVID-19 cases; 44 are currently active, 457 have recovered, and 6 deaths.
