Analysis ni Casiple ukol sa suspension  ni Danao, walang basehan

Pinabulaanan ng Pamahalaang Panlalawigan ang pahayag ng political analyst na si Ramon Casiple na lumabas sa isang media outlet sa Palawan kung saan sinabi nitong ‘politically motivated’ ang pagsuspendi kay Narra Mayor Gerandy Danao at ini-uugnay ang usapin sa planong paghahati sa lalawigan ng Palawan sa tatlong probinsya.

Ayon kay Provincial Information Officer Winston Arzaga, ang lahat ay may kalayaang magpahayag ng anumang saloobin at pagtutol sa usapin ng dibisyon ng Palawan tulad ni Mayor Danao pero hindi anya magandang i-ugnay pa ito sa pagkaka-suspendi sa alkalde dahil ito anya ay ibang usapin.

Wala rin anyang basehan ang pahayag ng kilalang political analyst dahil kahit noon pa man sa panahon ng mga dating lider ng Palawan tulad nina dating Gobernador Salvador Socrates, Joel Reyes at maging si dating DENR Minister Teodoro Peña ay nagpanukala rin na hatiin ang probinsya subalit hindi lang sila nagtagumpay.

Ibig lamang anyang sabihin, hindi si Governor Jose Ch. Alvarez ang unang nagpanukala nito bago ma-aprubahan ang Republic Act 11259 o ang batas na naghahati sa Palawan na nilagdaan ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte at suportado ng Senado at Kongreso.

“Ang Palawan ay seven (7) times na mas malaki keysa sa Laguna, five (5) times na mas malaki sa Batangas, three (3) times ang laki sa Cebu. Mr. Casiple is supposed to be a political analyst. Anyone worth his salt must base his statements on facts not on false assumptions and worn-out clichés. If you have to comment, please be fair. And if you cannot be fair, at least get your facts right, otherwise it’s all vacuous,” ani Arzaga sa pamamagitan ng inilabas na kalatas ng Provincial Information Office sa kanilang Facebook page.
