The occasion was attended by CBNCs highest official at site and by Bataraza Mayor Abraham M. Ibba and Provincial Tourism Officer, Maribel Buñi.

“Nagagalak ako na makitang tapos na ang bantayog na ito na simbolo ng kasipagan ng mga nagtatanim ng pinya,” said Buñi who was also present during the groundbreaking of the project in August 2018.

The provincial Tourism Officer committed to help in promoting Bataraza as tourism hub in Southern Palawan. “We will support you in the capability building para umangat ang industriya ng turismo.

On the other hand, Mayor Ibba was very thankful to the CBNC and stakeholders, adding that Bataraza can’t build this project without the help of CBNC. He also acknowledged that the biggest contribution of the taxes came from the CBNC. Mayor Ibba also hope that CBNC will continue to help Bataraza.

Mayor Ibba committed to support the pineapple farmers. He pronounced that a pineapple processing will soon to be established in Bataraza.

After the blessing, a groundbreaking ceremony was also conducted for the construction of the Bulalacao Chapel which is also a project of CBNC that will be erected at the same site.
