The provincial government spent roughly around P1.7 million to help locally stranded individuals (LSIs) through Aid to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) program of the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office.

PSWDO Head Abigail Ablaña said that since May 5, a total of 782 LSIs benefited from AICS in accordance with the directives of Governor Jose Ch. Alvarez.
