The ceremony commenced with a Holy Mass officiated by Rev. Fr. Ralph John Javarez followed by a ribbon-cutting, blessing of the park, and the unveiling of the statue of Don Pedro Vicente.

Governor Jose Ch. Alvarez said during his speech that the park will surely give joy to all Palaweños.

Families are now able to spend time together outside and visit attractions such as parks, malls, plazas, public gardens, and scenic viewpoints as the Province of Palawan and Puerto Princesa City is now on Alert Level 2 community quarantine classification, as announced by the National IATF on November 20, which allows minors and senior citizens to go out for leisure.
