EKSLUSIBO: Dalawang kandidato sa pagka mayor sa Araceli, Palawan, nag-tie

Nag-tie ang dalawang kandidato sa pagka-mayor sa bayan ng Araceli, Palawan, ayon kay Emil Yap Alili ng COMELEC Araceli.

“Nag-tie po ang mayor ng Araceli. Nag-uusap pa po kami sa proceedings. Although may constitutional division na gagawin natin, pero hindi pa po kami nagpa-finalize ng MBOC (Municipal Board of Canvassers),” saad ni Alili.

Dagdag niya posible din umanong mag-toss coin para malaman kung sino ang mananalo.

Ang kasalukuyang nanunungkulan na mayor ng Araceli na si Noel Beronio at si dating mayor Sue Cudilla ang naglalaban sa posisyon bilang mayor ng nasabing bayan.

Ang dalawa ay nakakuha ng parehas na boto na 3,495.

“Well di naman talaga natin ma determine yung judgement, diba? Anway, nagkaroon ng isang problema sa isang barangay nakaraan, anyway, nabilang na rin sya. Unexpected din talaga sa part namin,”pahayag ni Mayor Noel Beronio sa panayam ng Palawan Daily News.

Dagdag nito na depende na sa election officer kung ano ang magiging proceedings para maresolba ang pagkatabla ng kanilang mga boto.

“Ang alam ko may mga rules naman dyan. Maari siguro mag proceed kami sa toss coin. Ganun siguro ang pupuntahan diyan. Kung meron syang i-propose na mga arrangement, pag-usapan namin,” saad ni Beronio.

“Pinapaabot ko lang talaga sa aming mga kababayan, lalong lalo na sa mga sumuporta sa atin. Naghirap din tayo ng kampanya. Hindi lang yan, buhay din natin ang tinaya natin dyan para lang sana matuloy lang sana ang paglilingkod. Ako naman ay lubos nagpapasalamat sa aking kababayan na talagang ibinigay at ibinuhos nila ang kanilang suporta. Sumasulodo ako sa ating mga kababayan dito sa Araceli,” pahayag ni Beronio.

Nakausap ng Palawan Daily News si dating mayor Cudilla subalit nagphayag ito na huwag muna siya magpa interview.

Sa ngayon, inaantabayanan pa din ang magiging desisyon ng MCOB.
