Gawing built-in ang vaccine cards sa Palawan, hiniling sa PHO

Inaprubahan ng Sangguniang Panlalawigan ang Resolution No. 216-21 na iniakda ni Board Member Cherry Pie Acosta na humihiling sa Provincial Health Office (PHO) na muling gumawa at baguhin ang Vaccine Card na ibinibigay sa isang indibidwal na nakapagpabakuna na laban sa COVID-19.

Ayon sa Bokal, dapat na i-improve ito mula sa simple at manipis na papel at gawin itong built-in upang hindi madaling masira at mawala.

“It should be built-in with securities against fraudulent acts. Alam naman po natin, Mr. Chairman, not to offend doon sa gumawa ng layout o design ng [COVID-19] vaccine card natin [but] it can easily be thrown po. Kung nakita niyo ang card napaka-simple po na parang manipis na papel.” aniya.

Dagdag pa nito na ang COVID-19 vaccine card ay posibleng magsilbing “digital passport” sa mga biyahe, mga business activities at maaari din umanong maging Valid ID.

Dapat din umanong pag-aralan ng mabuti ang card at dagdagan ng mga importanteng impormasyon tulad ng Municipal Health Office kung saang munisipyo nagpabakuna, petsa kung kailan nabakunahan, barcode at ID picture.

Samantala, napagkasunduan naman ng Provincial Board na i-address ang resolusyon hindi lamang sa PHO ngunit maging sa Provincial Inter-Agency Task Force (PIATF).
