As part of the celebration of the 31st anniversary of the Provincial Public Employment Service Office (PESO) in Palawan, it organized an extensive Local and Overseas Job Fair on October 23 in collaboration with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW), and SM City Puerto Princesa.

The event commenced with a brief program led by PESO Officer-in-Charge Orphy C. Ordinario, and was graced by the presence of G. Jonathan Gerodias, Senior Labor and Employment Officer/DMW Coordinator-Palawan, the Department of Migrant Workers, and Gng. Ma. Socorro Marquez, Senior Labor Employment Officer representing G. Carlo B. Villaflores, Head of the Palawan Field Office, Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).

In total, 189 Palaweños applied for jobs both within and outside the province, and even abroad, with six individuals securing jobs on the spot.

Approximately 900 job vacancies from 17 different agencies were made available, covering various industries such as agriculture, mining, transportation, BPO, insurance/finance, hospitality, logistics, retail, cashier, administrative clerk, factory, automotive, and many others, for the participants to explore.
