The Bienvenido Valleber Command of the New People’s Army is accusing the 3rd Marine Brigade of violating human rights in its recent Focus Military Operations (FMO) in Sitio Karatong, Brgy Tinitian, Roxas, Palawan.

In a statement released by Spokesperson Andrei Bon Guerrero on October 25, he admitted indirectly that the FMO has been relentlessly pursued and has affected them significantly after the rescue of two underaged female cadres, including a pregnant 14-year-old.

3rd Marine Brigade Commander Col. Jimmy Larida shot back that the barangay residents and the rebel surrenderees themselves are the ones who can attest to the truth and refute the “bold accusations” of the terrorist organization.

Meanwhile, the 3rd Marine Brigade tallies about 20 CNT surrenderees in the month of October 2021.
