A delivery truck loaded with drums of motor oil remained overturned on a key stretch of road in the national highway of Barangay Abo-Abo, Sofroñio Española, causing a temporary traffic obstruction.
The small truck, reportedly transporting several containers of Oil 40, tipped over while navigating a partially excavated portion of the highway where ongoing roadwork has narrowed lanes and exposed uneven surfaces.
Locals believe the truck lost control while passing through the affected area, though the cause has yet to be officially determined.
As of press time, efforts to recover the truck and secure the spilled cargo are still in progress.
Authorities have yet to release an official incident report.
