Pananambang sa ambulansiya, kinondena ng DOH at CHD MIMAROPA

Mariing kinondena ng Center for Health and Development o CHD MIMAROPA ang naganap na pananambang sa healthcare workers sa bayan ng Roxas noong August 1, na ikinasawi ng isang healthcare worker at ikinasugat ng tatlong iba pa.

Sa inilabas na official statement ng DOH CHD MIMAROPA, hiling nito ang mabilisang imbestigasyon sa kaso upang makamtan ang hustisya sa lalong madaling panahon.

“This gruesome incident is a huge affront to our already overwhelmed health care system so we strongly demand for justice,” bahagi ng inilabas na pahayag ng CHD MIMAROPA.

Hindi rin anila katanggap-tanggap ang ganitong panyayari lalo pa’t sobra na ang hirap at sakripisyo ng healthcare workers at medical frontliners sa paglaban kontra Coronavirus disease 2019 o COVID-19.

Sa halip, hiling nito sa lahat na suportahan ang kanilang hanay, irespeto at ipagdasal dahil ginagawa ng medical frontliners ang lahat maibigay lamang ang serbisyo sa taong bayan.

“This pandemic continues to cripple the nation particularly our health care workers who are experiencing the most difficulty in these challenging times. They certainly do not deserve injustices such as this,” saad pa sa nasabing statement.

Matatandaan na isang nurse ang nasawi habang sugatan ang iba nitong kasamahan matapos pagbabarilin ng di pa nakikilalang mga suspek ang ambulansya ng Palawan Rescue 165 sa National Highway, Sitio Stockpile sa Barangay Dumarao, Roxas, Palawan kahapon ng hapon.
