Modified Commercial Flights sa Puerto Princesa International Airport, suspendido ng dalawang linggo

Pansamantalang ititigil ng Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines Area IV – Puerto Princesa International Airport ang ipinatutupad na Modified Commercial Flights mula Martes, August 4 hanggang August 18.

Kasunod ito ng proklamasyon ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte nitong Linggo, August 2, kung saan ibinabalik ang National Capital Region at kalapit na mga probinsya sa Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine o MECQ.

Sa inilabas na public advisory ng CAAP Puerto Princesa, sinasabing naka-antabay lamang sila sa mga susunod na anunsyo ng nasyunal na pamahalaan kaugnay sa estado ng quarantine level sa NCR.

Dahil dito, pinapayuhan ang lahat ng mga apektadong pasahero na makipag-ugnayan na sa airline companies upang maasikaso ang kanilang flight schedules.

Matatandaan na una nang nagpalabas ng advisory ang Department of Transportation – Civil Aeronautics Board na pirmado ni Executive Director Carmelo Arcilla, kung saan pansamantalang sususpendihin ang lahat ng domestic flights sa Ninoy Aquino International Airport mula bukas, August 4 habang lilimitahan naman ang international flights.

Ito ay bilang pagtalima sa direktiba ng Pangulong Duterte na siyang nakasaad sa resolusyon at rekomendasyon ng Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) at National Task Force on COVID-19 (NTF).
