Board Member Alvarez, hihilingin ang dagdag flights sa Palawan

Nais hilingin ni Board Member Juan Antonio Alvarez sa mga airlines companies na madagdagan ang flights at destinations partikular na sa Puerto Princesa City International Airport dahil makakatulong umano ito sa ekonomiya at turismo sa Palawan.

Base sa kanyang ipinanukalang Resolution No. 061-22 na may pamagat na Resolution of inquiry to local airlines on the probability of increasing flights schedules and destination to and from Puerto Princesa City Airport, sinabi ni Alvarez na, “Kung sakaling hindi tayo pakinggan may mga barko naman tayo na maaring mag request pero sana pumayag naman sila makita nila na magandang opurtunidad na iyan kung lalagyan nila ng dagdag flights tulad sa mga lugar na puwede tulad ng Davao, kasi ang Cebu meron ng kasalukuyan direct from Cebu to Palawan.”

Hihilingin rin nito sa mga kumpanya na muling ibalik na ang mga international flights tulad ng Hong Kong, Taiwan at Korea napapanahon narin para ibalik umano sa dati dahil sa ngayon ay mayroon ng 20 flights araw-araw ang Puerto Princesa at muli ng manumbalik ang sigla ng turismo at pag angat ng ekonomiya sa Palawan.

“Panahon narin para bumalik sa dati dahil sa ngayon nasa 20 flights na daily kung hindi ako nagkakamali, medyo normal ng bumabalik nasa free pandemic [na tayo]so I think wala ng Distriction [restriction] sa mga ibang bansa,” saad ni Alvarez.

Ayon pa kay Alvarez, marami ng banyaga ang pumapasok sa Pilipinas. “Let us take this opportunity na Palawan natin papuntahin at padaliin natin sa kanila ang pagpunta sa Palawan.”
