San Vicente launches flagship program ‘YAKAP ni AMY’

San Vincente town launches its flagship program, “Abot-KamaY na Ayuda at Kalinga Pambarangay na Naglalayong Isulong ang Kapakanan ng Mamamyan (YAKAP ni AMY), January 28, 2020.

The concept and objective of the program is to bring the LGU basic services in each barangay; Improve the quality and access to health information that meets particular needs of minority, underserved and disenfranchised individuals and communities; and to foster convergence among the various sector of society together with the private sector, national government unit, non-government organization and uniformed personnel.

“Dahil dito sa San Vicente gusto natin walang iwanan lahat tayo kasama sa pag unlad. Gusto natin siguraduhin ramdam ng bawat residente ang serbisyo ng gobyerno, upang mag bigay ng serbisyo sa inyo hangga’t sa aming makakaya. Handa kami makinig sa inyong hinanaing bilang inyong tagapag lingkod, hangad din namin na mag karoon ng matibay  na relasyon sa inyo,” Mayor Amy Said.

Mr. Carlo Buitizon, chief of staff, Mayor’s office, added one of the components of the program is the “Kapihan sa Barangay” which is a Barangay consultation activity with Barangay Officials, Youth Leaders, Various Peoples organizations and Reporting of LGUs accomplishments plans and projects.

“Kasama ang mga Barangay officials pati mga common constituents natin para firsthand information, from that time makakabigay kami kaagad ng  initial na action para kung hindi masolusyunan ng buo at least mabigyan linaw yung problema ng barangay at marinig mismo doon sa mga concered na opisina,” Buitizon said

The program is set every month for each barangay in San Vicente, with the following proposed schedule: Bgy. San Isidro – January 28; Bgy. Alimanguan – February 28; Bgy. Sto. Niño – March 31; Bgy. Binga – April 28; Bgy. New Canipo – May 26; Bgy. Poblacion – June 30; Bgy. Caruray – July 28; Bgy. Kemdeng – July 28; Bgy. Kemdeng – August 31; Bgy. Port Barton – Sept 29; Bgy. New Agutay – October 27.
