The Sangguniang Panlalawigan approved the Resolution No. 300-21 entitled “Respectfully requesting Jose Ch. Alvarez, Governor, Province of Palawan, to Consider the Funding, Procuring and Establishment of Medical Oxygen Generators for All Hospitals Managed and Operated by The Provincial Government of Palawan” authored by Board Member Ryan D. Maminta.

The resolution aims to ask Gov. Alvarez to allocate funds or establish medical oxygen generators for all Provincial Hospitals managed by the Provincial Government of Palawan (PGP). Oxygen generators are just one of the basic necessities during this time of pandemic, Maminta said.

According to BM Maminta, instead of purchasing, PGP should study to have of its own oxygen generators in all hospitals in the province, as well as the medical oxygen manufacturing plant to ensure its availability if needed.

He added.
