The arrest came after an entrapment operation headed by the Palawan Council for Sustainable Development (PCSDS) Enforcement Team on Thursday, February 23.

PCSDS reported yesterday that both suspects will face a case in violation of RA 9147 or the Wildlife Resources Conservation and Protection Act.

The Palawan Pangolin is considered as a critically endangered species under PCSDS Resolution 15-521.

PCSDS is calling the help of the public in reporting any illegal activities that threaten the life of wildlife species, as well as flora and fauna.
