A 22-year-old male was rushed to the hospital in critical condition after a solo motorcycle crash in Barangay Dumangueña, Narra, around 11:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 8.
The victim, identified only by the alias “Jake,” is a resident of the said barangay. Initial information from XFM Palawan indicates that he was reportedly driving at a high speed when he lost control of the motorcycle, causing him to veer off the road and crash into a grassy area.
Authorities have not yet confirmed whether the victim was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incident.
Jake was initially brought to a nearby medical facility but is scheduled to be transferred to Puerto Princesa City on Thursday for further treatment due to the severity of his injuries.
As of this writing, local officials have not released further details regarding the crash or the victim’s condition. Investigation is ongoing.
