9 rebel Returnees, pinagkalooban ng tulong pinansiyal ng pamahalaan

Sa pamamagitan ng isinagawang E-CLIP at LSIP Awarding Ceremony ay napagkalooban ng tulong pinansyal ang siyam na rebel returnees mula sa Pamahalaang Nasyunal at Pamahalang Panlalawigan.

Batay sa impormasyon buhat sa PIO-Palawan, pito sa nasabing rebel returnees ang nakatanggap ng tig-P65,000 mula sa Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program (E-CLIP) ng Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) at dalawa naman ang tumanggap ng tig-P25,000 na cash grant mula sa Local Social Integration Program (LSIP) ng Provincial Government na pinangangasiwaan ng Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO).

Dumalo naman sa nasabing aktibidad na idinaos sa VJR Hall sa Capitol Complex ang iba’t ibang mga ahensiya na bumubuo sa Provincial Task Force-ELCAC.

Sa mensahe ni Bise Gob. Victorino Dennis M. Socrates na siyang kumatawan kay Gob. Jose C. Alvarez sa nabanggit na aktibidad, binigyang-diin niya ang kasamaang dulot ng komunismo sa isang bansa.

“Ang komunismo ang greatest evil that the world has experienced. Ito ang nagpapahirap sa isang bansa, kaya maraming salamat sa inyong pagbabalik-loob mula sa dating kilusan pabalik hanggang sa pagsanib ngayon sa ating lipunan,” ayon kay Vice Gov. Socrates.

Nagbigay rin ng mensahe para sa mga nagbalik-loob na NPA members ang bagong talagang Commander ng Western Command na si LtGen. Erickson R. Gloria.

“Ang mga naunang nagbalik-loob ay namumuhay na ngayon nang matiwasay kasama ang kanilang pamilya. Nawa’y maging daan patungo sa bagong pag-asa at maliwanag na kinabukasan ang mga programa ng pamahalaan katulad ng E-CLIP at LSIP,”  pahayag ni ComWescom Gloria.

Bahagi rin ng programa ang pagbibigay ng update hinggil sa ECLIP na ibinahagi City at Provincial DILG Director Virgilio L. Tagle at ng LSIP sa pamamagitan naman ni Provincial Social Welfare and Development Officer Abigail D. Ablaña.

Samantala, sa datus ng mga kinauulan, simula umano noong 2011 ay mayroon ng kabuuang 156 na sumukong rebelde sa Lalawigan ng Palawan ang napagkalooban ng tulong pinansyal ng pamahalaan, maliban pa ito sa ibinibigay na mga pagsasanay na katuwang ang Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) at Department of Agriculture (DA) upang matiyak na sa pagbabalik nila sa kanilang mga pamilya ay maaari silang makapagsimula ng pagkakakakitaan o hanapbuhay.
