The ICTSI Philippine Kite Boarding Tour Season 6, an international event hosted by the Philippine Kite Boarding Association, held its second leg in Brgy. Sibaltan, El Nido, Palawan on January 11 – 13, 2019, which was attended by local and foreign participants from Europe, America and Asia.
Its first leg was held at Bulalacao, Oriental Mindoro last December 1 – 3,2018.
Mr. Jay Ortis, President of Philippine Kiteboarding Association (PKA), said that the tour objective is to promote kiteboarding all over the 7,100 islands and to develop local talents and train them to compete in international events. “The Philippine Kite boarding association objective is to promote the sport kiteboarding all over the 7000 island also our second objective is to develope local talents yung mga filipino boys and girls that want to train make them compete in an international events,” said Ortis, in Balay Cuyunon Barangay Sibaltan, El Nido Palawan.
After El Nido, the tour will go to Lakawon Island on February 15 – 17 and Boracay on March 1 – 3.
