The Russian crew of the ongoing “Survivor Russia” took a break and introduced their favorite sport—-football—-to the locals of brgy. Maligaya in the town of El Nido recently.
It served as a present from the foreign TV production team to the people who warmly welcomed them for the second time.
“Survivor Russia” started shooting last January 8 and will last until February 14 in Guntao south, Alfas Beach and Binangulan area as the main location, while the challenges were done in Snake Island, Ellis Beach, Malapacao, and Cagbatan.
The Russian TV show has 16 contestants with 225 crew, both from Mastiff Banijay Russia, and Philippine Film Production.
According to Cyril Lounkevitch, General Producer of Mastiff Banijay Russia, the Survivor Russia in El Nido was a hit last year, and they even won a Russian Emmy award for it.
That’s the very reason they decided to shoot again in the beautiful town with brand new contestants.
The show will air in Russia TV3 starting February 8, every Saturday at 7 in the evening.
“We are passionate for football and we are organizing this every week, just a friendly game for our crew and all the locals,” Lounkevitch said in a statement sent to Palawan Daily News.
The game also welcomed some foreign nationals who were residing or living in El Nido, and even some guests or tourists were invited to join the fun.
