“This cozy seafood restaurant in Puerto Princesa is set in a beautiful, traditional wooden Filipino house. Serving up a menu of local ingredients, you can expect to taste some of the freshest fish in Palawan. Menu highlights change depending on what the fishermen bring in that day, but usually includes dishes such as prawns, crab or grilled fish. Kalui Restaurant does get busy quickly, so be sure to book in advance. It is one of the best places to eat in the Philippines, after all,” Big 7 description of Kalui.

Rank 16 is the Taste El Nido also known as The Vegan Café PH in Buena Suerte in the beautiful town of El Nido. It offers non dairy-based coffee drinks and vegan snacks, and was identified as fantastic vegan food place in Palawan.

“Taste Cafe in El Nido is the place to go. This cute spot is the perfect place to start your day with one of their pretty smoothie bowls. Choose from a variety of flavours, such as Smooth Red, Antioxidant Orange, Hello Yellow, Go Green, Cool Blue, Detoxify Indigo, and Pretty Violet. There’s also plenty of yummy savoury dishes, such as Mexican chipotle bowls or vegan lasagna that will satisfy all tastes,” as said on the list description.

The third resto in Palawan that was rank no. 24 is Mabuti Eat and Chill of Port Barton in San Vicente, another vegan dining venue that became popular for their veggie burgers and mushrooms pasta.

“Mabuti has a tempting menu of vegan and vegetarian fare, including a rich Shakshuka dish for breakfast with home baked bread or veggie burgers and salads. Finish off your meal with a scoop or two of their creamy homemade ice cream,” as described by Big 7.

The top 25 list has 9 restos from Manila and Cebu, three from Boracay and one each from Surigao Del Norte and Bohol. It was released online last week of January of this year.
