Cops nab woman for selling shabu

A 24-year-old woman was arrested in an anti-illegal drugs buy-bust operation by the City Police Station 1 and City Anti-Crime Task Force operatives in Barangay Bancao-Bancao Friday noon, July 3.

The suspect was identified as Victorian Nabe, a native of Bacolod City and currently residing at Purok Bagong Buhay of the said barangay.

According to P/Lt. Aron Elona, the City PNP Station 1 Commander, Nabe is involved in the proliferation of shabu in the city. “Nandito pa kami sa area and ongoing ang inventory at investigation sa suspek,” Elona said in an interview.

Nabe was arrested after selling illegal drugs to a poseur buyer and recovered from her possession one small heat-sealed plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu and a P500 bill that were used as buy-bust money.

The operatives also confiscated 18 pieces of heat-sealed plastic sachet containing also believed to be shabu.

Nabe is now under the custody of PNP Station 1 and will be facing charges for Violation of Section 5 and 11 of Republic Act 9165 also known as Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
