Inaanyayahan ang publiko na makibahagi sa isasagawang public hearing sa Nobyembre 14, ganap na alas-1:00 ng hapon, sa Edward S. Hagedorn Coliseum. Ang nasabing pagtitipon ay para talakayin ang planong pagtataas ng singil sa tubig ng Puerto Princesa City Water District (PPCWD).

Batay sa cost power adjustment, magkakaroon ng karagdagang singil na P2.50 kada cubic meter ng tubig na magagamit ng bawat konsumer.
Ipinaliwanag ni Walter J. Laurel, General Manager ng PPCWD, ang usapin sa mga mamamahayag. Ayon sa kanya, malaking halaga ang binabayaran nila buwan-buwan sa kuryente upang mapanatili ang tuloy-tuloy na serbisyo ng tubig. Aniya, kinakailangan ang dagdag-singil upang maipagpatuloy ang mga proyekto ng PPCWD, dahil napupunta umano ang kanilang pondo sa pagbabayad ng kuryente at hindi pa sapat upang maipagpatuloy ang mga nasimulang proyekto.
