Puerto Princesa Bay at Honda Bay, negatibo na sa redtide

Inanunsyo ng Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) kahapon, Pebrero 9, 2021, na ligtas na ang Puerto Princesa Bay at Honda Bay sa red tide o ‘Paralytic Shellfish Poison’ matapos masuri at pag-aralan ang mga shellfish na kinolekta sa tatlong (3) magkakasunod na linggo.

Pinahihintulutan na ng BFAR ang pag-harvest, pagbebenta at pagkonsumo ng mga shellfish tulad ng sikad-sikad at tahong sa mga nabanggit na lugar.

Samantala, positibo pa rin ang Coastal Waters ng Inner Malampaya Sound sa Taytay, Palawan sa red tide kaya’t patuloy pa rin pinaalalahanan ng BFAR na mag-ingat at huwag kumain ng mga shellfish mula sa lugar.
