Petrosphere conducts OSH seminar in St. Luois University Baguio City

Petrosphere Incorporated, in partnership with the Industrial Engineering Department of St. Louis University in Baguio City, conducted a seminar on Occupational Safety and Health with a theme, “Empowering Excellence: The Importance of HSE in Career Growth and Development.”

“The feedback from participants was overwhelmingly positive, highlighting the impactful nature of the event. Attendees expressed deep appreciation for the speaker’s engaging presentation style, noting how it prompted them to reflect on their life choices and career paths,” said Engr. Michelle S. Carino – Adiwang, Head of the Department of Industrial Engineering in SLU Baguio City.

“Many found the session informative and insightful, benefiting from practical advice on integrating Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) practices into professional life. The event was especially valued by shifter students unfamiliar with the work environment, who found the discussion helpful in navigating their career journeys,” Engr. Michelle added.

Engr. Harthwell Capistrano was the resource speaker of the seminar. He talked about his experience, his drive on continuous lifelong learning experience, including the basics of HSE and its importance in career growth and development.

Also present during the seminar was the CEO and President of Petrosphere Incorporated, Arch. Kent N. Janaban.

The event was attended by Industrial Engineering students who also received free eCertificates provided by Petrosphere Incorporated. Three lucky students also won vouchers of their own course choice. The winners were Franz Joseph Abad, Kim Chelsea Carag, and Heidi Mateo.

The half-day seminar, held on June 21, 2024, was part of the regular monthly event of the Company to promote awareness on Health Safety and Environment, as well as inspiring everyone to pursue professional career growth and development.
