Nagsagawa ng Advocacy Campaign ang Palawan Council for Sustainable Development (PCSD) sa pamamagitan ng ECAN Education and Extension Division (EEED) Staff, katuwang ang Maia Earth Village at Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) sa Maranat Elementary School sa Brgy. Bacungan noong Oktubre 13, 2022.

Matagumpay itong naidaos sa pamamagitan rin ng mga kilalang tao na bumubuo sa nasabing aktibidad na sina Ms. Adona San Diego (Chief, Development Communication Division, Strategic Communications and Initiative Services), Ms. Maria Madeline Dela Pena (Information Officer III, DENR Central Office, Strategic Communications and Initiative Services), kasama ang mga information officer ng CENRO Puerto Princesa at PENRO.

 

Bilang bahagi ng nasabing aktibidad ay ikinampanya ang adbokasiya na may temang “Kalikasan sa Mata ng Kabataan” na kung saan ito ay binubuo ng mga talakayan at aktibidad sa Single-Use Plastic, 7 Environmental Principles, ang screening ng “Ang Kwento ni Panpan”, “Paw Pawikan nang Madengoy”, at isang interactive na larong “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire” na binubuo ng mga tanong tungkol sa 7 Environmental Principles.

 

Bukod pa rito, nagkaroon din ng showcase ng mga larawan na nagtatampok sa mga natural na tanawin. Likas na natural ang kagandahan ng mga tanawin subalit ang higit na nakapagpahanga ay nakunan ng mga mag-aaral sa elementarya gamit ang lamang ang cellular phone.

Samakatuwid, ito ang buod ng temang “Kalikasan sa Mata ng Kabataan” na nangangahulugang kung paano nakikita ng kabataan ang ating kapaligiran sa pamamagitan ng lente ng kamera.
