14- day quarantine sa mga inbound passengers, ibinalik na ng National IATF

Ibinalik na ng National IATF ang 14-day quarantine sa mga dumarating na biyahero sa isang lugar.

Sa ibinabang Resolution No. 114, s. 2021 ng National Inter-agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) na naaprubahan noong Mayo 6, required na ang isang inbound passenger na kumpletuhin ang 10 araw na quarantine sa pasilidad at ang natitira ay home quarantine. Ito ay ipatutupad ano man ang resulta ng RT-PCR test na isasagawa naman sa ikapitong araw mula nang siya ay dumating.

Resolution No. 114, s. 2021

Mababasa sa ibinahaging kopya ng resolusyon ng Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) sa kanilang official website kahapon na ang bagong kautusan ay batay sa rekomendasyon ng Small Technical Working Group on Technical and Quarantine Protocols.

Kaugnay nito ay inatasan ang Kagarawan ng Turismo (DOT) na pangunahan ang pagbuo ng “One Hotel Command,” katuwang ang iba pang ahensiya para sa mas mabilis at epektibong pagtugon sa anumang concerns ng mga taong sumasailalim sa facility-based quarantine.

Kabilang din sa highlight ng kautusan ay pinapayagan ang mga nag-eedad 15 hanggang 17 taong gulang at ang mga lagpas na 65 taong gulang  na lumabas sa kanilang mga tahanan upang magpatala sa Philippine Statistic Authority (PSA) para sa Philippine Identification System Step 2 Registration.

Inaprubahan din at in-adopt ng IATF ang  “Point-to-Point Air Travel for Leisure Purposes” Guidelines ng DOT mula NCR Plus areas.

Matatandaang inalis ng IATF ang nakasanayan na dating pag-quarantine sa mga inbound travellers  sa pamamagitan ng Resolution No. 101 na may petsang  Pebrero 26, 2021, maliban na lamang kung nagpakita ng mga sintomas. Sa nasabing resolusyon ay hindi na rin required ang RT-PCR test para makarating sa pupuntahang lugar, bagamat binigyan ng kapangyarihan ang mga LGU na hingin ito mula sa mga papasok na indibidwal.
