The DRRM Caravan featured a series of activities designed to engage residents in disaster risk reduction efforts. The event kick-started with a grand parade held at the Go Hotel, Barangay San Manuel and commenced into the City Baywalk area, showcasing at least 80 rescue vehicles and equipment of PDRRMC.
After the parade, a short program was held at the City Baywalk where experts and resource persons shared their knowledge and experiences, emphasizing the importance of proactive disaster management and preparedness in the face of natural and man-made disasters.
Jerry Alili, PDDRM Officer, expressed his gratitude for the continuous support of the Palawan Provincial Government and highlighted the critical role of preparedness in saving lives and minimizing the impact of disasters.
