Dahil sa physical distancing, bawal ang angkas sa motorsiklo

Bawal ang angkas sa motorsiklo kahit sa mga lugar na nasa ilalim ng general community quarantine o GCQ.

Ito ang binigyang-diin ni Transportation Assistant Secretary Alberto Suansing sa panayam ng programang “Chris ng Bayan” sa Palawan Daily News.

Ayon kay Suansing, mahigpit parin ang kautusan sa pagbabawal sa mga backrider sa motorsiklo kahit pa asawa o kamag-anak ang angkas.

Paliwanag ng opisyal, bawal ito dahil mahigpit ang kautusan na kailangang sundin ang physical at social distancing kahit pa sa mga lugar na nasa ilalim nan g GCQ.

“Hindi parin pinapayagan [angkas] at very strict tayo dyan kasi ang gusto nating ma-comply ay ang social distancing. So, whether mag-asawa ‘yan o magkapatid o magkamag-anak ay hindi parin natin pinapagayan na mag-angkasan sila,” ani Suansing sa panayam ng Palawan Daily.

Sino man anya ang lumabag dito ay tiyak na huhulihin at pagmumultahin.

Hindi rin anya rason ang sinasabi ng ilang motorista na mas ligtas ang kanilang kaanak kung naka-angkas sa motorsiklo kesa sumakay sa public utility vehicles.

“Hindi rason ‘yun dahil sa PUV, may pagitan at sa motor ay wala talagang dikit. Ganun din ‘yun e at mas lalo na [sa motor] kasi ‘yun nga, di na nga nao-obserba ang physical distancing [sa motor] dahil magkadikit sila,” paliwanag ng opisyal.

Samantala, sa usapin naman ng domestic at commercial flights, sinabi ni Suansing na may inilabas nang notice ang pamahalaan na ihinto muna pansamantala ang pagtanggap ng mga kababayan nating pabalik ng Pilipinas.

Paliwanag ng DOTr official, sa ngayon ay sweeper flights at barkong may dalang mga kargamento pa lamang ang kanilang pinayagan.

“Actually, ang pinapayagan lang muna sa ngayon is ‘yung eroplano at barko pero kargamento lang, wala pang tao. ‘Yung mga sweeper flights din for example, ‘yung foreigners na nasa Palawan pa at gusto nang umuwi, pababalikin na muna either sa Cebu o sa Manila para makakuha muna ng kanilang international flights,” dagdag ni Suansing
