Pagtaas ng annual budget ng Prov. Gov’t wala umanong kinalaman sa 3n1 Palawan

Mas mataas ang inilaang pondo sa 2021 na nagkakahalaga ng 3.6 Bilyong Piso kumpara sa 3.2 Bilyong Piso ngayong taon 2020 ay ito ay binigyang linaw ni Palawan 2nd District Board Member Ryan Maminta sa programang Newsroom ng Palawan Daily News noong Disyembre 17.

“Ang increase naman ng local budget sa lahat ng mga Local Government Units ay talagang inaasahan dahil nga sa share doon sa Internal Revenue Allotment…di bumababa ng 10% taon-taon ay nagkakaroon ng pagtaas ng budget ang mga Lokal na Pamahalaan…noong 2019…ang annual budget ng probinsya ay nasa 2.8 Bilyon [at] ngayong 2020 ay nasa mahigit 3.2 Billion, so may pagtaas ng halos 400 Million. Ngayong 2021, ang inaasahang budget ay nasa 3.6 Billion Pesos,” ani Maminta.

Itinanggi naman ni Board Member Maminta na may kinalaman ang pagtaas ng pondo ng Pamahalaang Panlalawigan sa isasagawang plebisito sa pagtatatag ng tatlong Probinsya.

“Yung pagtatatag ng tatlong probinsya, hindi naman ito material pa doon sa budget ng 2021…so ngayong 2021, magkakaroon ng plebisito sa mga susunod na buwan pero hindi ibig sabihin noon na yung pondo ng Provincial Government ay kukunin para roon…so mali na isipin na tinaas ‘yung pondo dahil magkakaroon ng 3in1 [Palawan],” pahayag ni Maminta.

Samantala, pinakamalaking parte umano ng pondo ay nakalaan sa I-HELP Program ng Provincial Government na kung saan nakatutok sa pagbibigay ng serbisyo para sa mga Palaweño.

“Nakalaan pa rin ito sa pangunahing programa ng ating minamahal na Gobernador si Governor JCA [Jose Chavez Alvarez] sa tinatawag na I-HELP Program o yung Infrastructure, Health, Educatoin, Livelihood, at yung Protection environment…Yung malasakit sa ating mga kababayan sa pamamagitan ng maliit na pondo na ito ng Provincial Government ay naipaparating ang mga serbisyo so ito ay inaasahan na magroroll-out simula January 1, 2021,” muling pahayag ni Maminta.
