Operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Palawan Provincial Office arrested a local high-value target (HVT) in San Juan Street, Barangay San Miguel, this city, in a buy-bust operation around 3 PM today, July 21.
A spot report obtained by Palawan Daily News identified the suspect as Alamo Nabor, considered HVT, and a laboratory aid in a local hospital in Puerto Princesa.
Confiscated from the suspect were 0.2 gram of suspected “shabu,” one piece genuine five hundred (P500) peso bill, one piece five hundred (P500) peso bill and one piece one thousand (P1,000) peso bill as boodle money.
Also recovered were ten pieces of empty transparent plastic sachet and one unit of motor cycle.
The suspect is now under the custody of the agency. A case in violation of RA 9165 or The Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act is now being prepared against the suspect.
Just two weeks ago, Alrie Nobleza, former mayor of Rizal here in Palawan and a high-value target was also arrested in Brookes Point.
