Papayagan nang muling mag-operate sa lungsod ang mga sinehan, beauty salon, barber shop, spa, restaurant, at hotel simula sa darating na Lunes, June 1.

Sa panayam ng programa ng Palawan Daily News (PDN) na ‘Chris ng Bayan’ kay City Adminstrator Atty. Arnel Pedrosa nitong Biyernes, sinabi niyang alinsunod sa inilabas na guidelines ng national government na maaari lamang mag-operate ang nasabing mga establishments mula June 1 sa ilalim ng “reduced capacity”.

Ayon kay Pedrosa, hindi dapat humigit sa limampung porsyento ng kabuuang venue o seating capacity ng isang establishment ang magagamit sa pagtanggap ng customer.

“Iyong mga dati nang pinayagan under the GCQ guidelines ay patuloy silang pinapayagan. [Sa darating na MGCQ ay] may mga nadagdag, puwede na ‘yong mga restaurants, theaters, salons, spa, barber shops, puwede na silang mag-operate. Pero nasa reduced capacity, not more than 50 percent ng kanilang venue o ng kanilang seating capacity,” ani Pedrosa.

Sa napipintong pag-downgrade ng Puerto Princesa City ngayong darating na Lunes, June 1, mula General Community Quarantine (GCQ) patungong Modified GCQ ay papayagan na rin aniya ang mass gathering sa ilalim pa rin ng naunang binanggit na mga kondisyon.

Ipatutupad din ani Pedrosa ang istriktong pagsuot ng face mask at pag-sunod sa social distancing.

Mahigpit ani Pedrosa na ipatutupad ng pamahalaang panlungsod ang MGCQ guidelines sa tulong ng City PNP, Anti Crime Task Force (ACTF), at Business Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO) tungo sa pag-tiyak ng kaligtasang-pangkalusugan ng mga mamamayan.

Samantala, pag-aaralan pa aniyang mabuti ng pamahalaang panlungsod kung makakasama ba sa papayagang mag-operate ang mga bars sa Puerto Princesa dahil mahigpit pa ring ipatutupad sa lungsod ang curfew.
