Mananatiling nasa ilalim ng Modified General Community Quarantine o MGCQ ang lungsod ng Puerto Princesa at lalawigan ng Palawan mula ngayong araw, June 16 hanggang June 30 kasama ang iba pang lugar sa bansa na may “low risk cases” ng COVID-19.

Base ito sa Resolution No, 46-A ng Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID).

Ayon kay Atty. Arnel Pedrosa, ang City Administrator at Legal Officer ng Puerto Princesa, wala na silang ilalabas na panibagong guidelines kasunod ang kumpirmasyon na napirmahan narin ni Mayor Lucilo Bayron ang amended ordinance ng Sangguniang Panlungsod kung saan pinalawig ang ipinatutupad na curfew at ang pagpapahintulot sa pag-inom ng alak sa commercial establishments.

“Pirmado na ni Mayor ang ordinance at from 10 o’clock na curfew ay 12 midnight na… Allowed na rin ‘yung public consumption ng liquors sa mga bar, restaurants at hotel pero bawal parin ang pag-inom sa mga beach… swimming lang ang pwede sa beach at basta mas social distancing lang at face mask sa mga bar,” ani Pedrosa sa panayam ng Palawan Daily.

Samantala, bawal parin lumabas ng bahay ang mga senior citizen at ang mga nag-eedad ng 21 pababa base sa umiiral na guidelines sa mga lugar na nasa ilalim ng MGCQ.

“Sa curfew ay sa 21 and above lang ito pero ang 18 pababa (or 20 below) ay 10 p.m. parin ang curfew natin dyan kaya hindi sila dapat pagala-gala sa labas o kalsada,” dagdag ng opisyal.

Sa buong Palawan naman, mananatiling bawal ang pag-inom ng nakalalasing na inumin sa mga pampublikong lugar kahit pa sa commercial establishments base sa ordinansa ng Sangguniang Panlalawigan na pirmado naman ni Governor Jose Ch. Alvarez.
