For the past years, various workplace accidents involving fatalities and diverse catastrophes on different industries were reported. Such untoward circumstances have brought several impacts not only in the community, in the environment but as well as on the business market. This increasing trend has become so much alarming and prescribed measures are truly needed to be introduced to abate the unrelenting growth of this particular concern.
Scholars, practitioners and various professionals have made their own respective analyses in providing conflict resolutions with regards to this particular subject matter. We can no longer endure any more fatal cases and industrial process losses.
Occupational Safety and Health Standards in the country are now being thoroughly reviewed to further intensify some of its obsolete provisions. It was remarkably identified that most of the industries operating in the country have abused our current OSH standards and have even unjustly neglected some of our labor policies. These acts of non-compliance have resulted on inexorable losses making our laborers as prime collateral on the business sector.
To end this decade-long conflict on our occupational safety and health including those unfair labor practices and misdemeanors, various policies and regulations were now being set especially the passage of the drafted OSH Bill No. 1317 which primarily focuses on penalizing all perpetrators who continually abuse the rights of our labors and those who disregard their given privileges.
The current intensification made on how to stringently implement Occupational Safety and Health in the country with the inclusion of the logical enforcement of all applicable regulations and policies is just only one of the proactive steps developed to address the underlying challenges being encountered on various industries.
With this, we are very much expectant that the previously encountered complex cases on all industries here in the country pertaining to workplace safety will be resolved accordingly and will be given mandatory priority thus contribute to the progressive realization of our streamlined objective of abating workplace fatalities and losses and eliminate unreasonable workplace violations and abuses.
